• Due to customer demand, we have now made the Merlin available with an Effective Mass from 18 grams (suitable for the vast majority of cartridges) up to 24 grams suitable for cartridges like the highly rated Denon 103 to Koetsu, or an other low compliance cartridge like the new Hana.

• For those that do not know TemaadAudio arms, with our arms there is no cartridge adjustment at the head-shell. As we believe that slotting the arm or carrier only weakens the very spot that should have MINIMUM flex, therefore not allowing your cartridge to maximize it's music retrieval. With our Titanium arm we have introduced an off-set cam collar at the arm mounting plate. Rotating the shaft collar allows the user 20 mm of cartridge overhang adjustment.

• There are 2 arm options available :
• The Merlin Reference arm is fitted with Rhodium cartridge clips & RCA outs & we have chosen to use what we consider to be the best internal wire available in the famous Van Den Hull MC 150M Silver wire (people  even rewire their SME V with this wire!!). It also sports our newly developed ceramic, magnetic pivot cup, ensuring the absolute minimum friction & wear. Being magnetized also the cup also firmly holds the pivot point, therefore reducing "pivot point chatter" which has previously been the downside of many unpivots. This greatly increases spatial information & bass slam retrieval. The magnetic baring is standard on the Merlin VDH arm & an optional extra on the Silver arm & the rest of the range.
• The Merlin Silver is our second & slightly cheaper arm, this is fitted with quality gold plated cartridge clips & RCA out's & our own proprietary sourced super flexible silver wire. You will achieve 90% of the Ref arms performance when using this option. With this arm the pivot is supported by our titanium arm post, which is also standard on our Warlock range.
• Which ever you choose we know you will be thrilled with the arm's performance & we know  our arm can match the performance of many arms that cost 3 to 5 times the price of our arms. • The Merlin arm's also sports a 2 part swivel cam base that makes adjusting the overhang of a cartridge a breeze. Just turn the top cam to obtain your correct cartridge alignment.
• We exclusively use a 12 inch format as it allows for a significant reductions in tracking error as the cartridge traverses the LP. None believers argue that this necessitates an increase in effective mass, yet our arms starts at only 18 grams.
