We realize that not everyone can afford a top of the line tone-arm, so we at Temmad are happy to make a complete set of engineering drawings available to you via email to allow you to make your own one. Choice of material is up to you & what you may have at hand, you can even manufacture one (well 95% of one) out of scrap wood, we have & it sounds very good indeed. We also provide a number of tips for you that make manufacturing easier. (happy building)

TemaadAudio Stand alone DC Motor Pod. As many people have found, replacing their old AC motor with a quieter DC motor can bring significant improvements to the T/T sound. The trouble has been that many existing motor kits leave much to be desired in the fitting kit received. With many users even having to modify their plinths. Now this is no longer a problem as this unit is completely stand alone & sits at the side of your T/T. Comes with advanced motor controller that allows 33 & 45 rpm at the flick of a switch, also there are individual trim pots to allow for fine tuning of the speed. The drive belt we recommend is a Mylar belt, which has been proven to provide superior platter driving performance than any rubber belt. If the user prefers we can supply a threaded belt. our test's have shown the motor in this unit is much quieter than provided by other kits.

Tonearm Outboard Mounting Pod - Manufactured from re-cycled timber. Nominal height is 90mm. (pad version). 120mm (spike version). This can be varied on customers request, from 90mm to 170mm & 120mm to 200mm.
It is a simple kit set & designed for the 3 center columns to be filled with lead shot or sand. The pod comes in two forms
3 screw spike feet & keepers.

Head-shell Adapter for Denon 103, With our arms having an effective mass of between 10 to 20 grams, they are a little light to be ideal to use a 103, with this head-shell it add an extra 14 grams to the arm's effective mass making the Denon 103 range of cartridges a more ideal match.
The ideal Eff Mass for an arm with the 103 (or any other low compliance cart of 5 or 6, is 25 to34 grams)

VTA style. Allows the user to adjust stylus VTA/SRA, by raising & lowering the arm post to achieve the correct SRA angle. Comes with 3 different adjustment screws & keeper to allow any arm post height - US$160-00 plus postage
The cam swivel base, as used on our top of the line Merlin arm. This unit can make aligning the overhang of a tone arm a breeze. Much easier than having to move the actual base, especially if you like to change cartridges from time to time.

The Warlock Base & Mounting Spindle is an ideal upgrade for someone who wants a slightly better looking Wizard Arm. There is no difference in performance, it just looks better. The Wizard is priced down as low as possible & therefore necessitates a screw arm post. This is OK for the budget conscious, but we have found many people want a little more.

Mini Counter Weight.
Normally available as a standard part with our Merlin arm, now available as an accessory to allow easier, more precise adjustment of tracking weight. The weight is locked in place the same as the main weight with a 4mm grub screw

Counter-weight ''Extra''
For 95% of usurers, our counterweight will cover every cartridge application. However just occasionally a little extra weight is required. This simple accessory is manufactured so it can sit on the side bars & nest up to the main counter-weight. It will add around 28 grams of weight to the main unit. Fixing is very simple, it is self locating. It can be glued in place or just apply 3 small daubs of Blue-tac & press onto into place.
